Cold Room Curtains
At Theoprofil, we manufacture PVC strip curtains ready to be installed to your specific dimensions.
PVC curtains offer a cost-effective solution for the energy costs of cold rooms and additionally prevent unwanted visitors such as birds, insects, and pests.
They are used in a wide range of applications in industrial work environments since PVC is an airtight material with excellent thermal insulation properties.
When installed on cold rooms, they help maintain the low internal temperature, contributing to reduced electricity costs. They have all the necessary certifications for food contact safety and are safe for human skin contact. Resistant to low temperatures, they do not dry out due to cooling and maintain their elasticity for many years. The use of curtains is mandatory in cold rooms, according to the legislation of the Hellenic Food Authority (EFET).
Alternatively, PVC curtains can be used as a very economical door solution to create partitions within cold and industrial spaces.

Applications
PVC curtains are widely used in the food industry at the entrances of cold rooms and refrigerated trucks, saving electricity when doors open. They are specially designed for trucks and trailers, providing a reliable solution to maintain low temperature inside the vehicle during loading and unloading of goods.
Strip curtains can be used as a cost-effective alternative to doors in workspaces, providing a safer and simpler solution to protect staff from external weather conditions without obstructing workflow. They act as a barrier against noise and dust and prevent the passage of insects and birds.
Roll-up doors are mainly used in industrial warehouses and workshops with high traffic. Their fast opening speed allows quick and uninterrupted worker movement.
